Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team in Coral Springs, Florida. This role involves on-site servicing and repair of our custom security doors and windows, ensuring they operate flawlessly and continue to meet our stringent quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a robust mechanical and construction background, coupled with experience in low-voltage systems, as many of our products incorporate advanced electronic features.​

Key Responsibilities

  • On-Site Service & Repair: Travel to client locations to diagnose, service, and repair FBS security doors and windows, ensuring optimal performance and client satisfaction.​

  • Mechanical & Construction Expertise: Utilize mechanical skills to address structural components, including adjustments, alignments, and hardware replacements.​

  • Low-Voltage Systems Management: Handle the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of low-voltage electronic components integrated into our products, such as motorized systems and access controls.​

  • Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear explanations of issues, services performed, and any necessary follow-up.​

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in a service technician role, preferably within the door and window industry or related fields involving mechanical and low-voltage systems.​

  • Mechanical Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction principles, and structural components.​

  • Low-Voltage Expertise: Proficiency in working with low-voltage systems, including wiring, troubleshooting, and repair.​

  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrated ability to diagnose issues accurately and implement effective solutions promptly.​

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on customer service and professionalism.​

  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in various environments, and travel to client sites as needed.​

  • Licenses & Certifications: Valid driver’s license required; relevant certifications in low-voltage systems or mechanical repair are a plus.​
